Getting the best out of the last ten days of Ramadan

You might not have started your Ramadan the way you wanted to start. The last ten days of Ramadan which is the most important part is here already! You must be well prepared with pure intentions, full energy, and a positive outlook.

It is compulsory you choose a very comfortable place for worship in your home or Masjid. You must avoid lying down while reciting the Holy Qur’an or Adhkar so as to prevent you from feeling tired or sleeping off.

Listen and read the tafsir of Suratul Al-Qadr to know more about this amazing night to get enlightened and educated! It could fall on any of the ten nights.

Switch off your mobile phones, Ipads, and laptops if possible.

Recite the Quran in a loud and beautiful voice so that your ears and heart remain involved with the recitation. Recite the Quran in a low tune when you are not alone. This has an amazing calming effect

Elongate your sujuds and make loads and loads of duas. Ask Allah for everything you wish for in this Dunya and in the Akhirah.

Raise your duaa, remember it is the night of decree and angels are precisely writing down whatever is going to happen in your life for the next coming year. Be specific in your dua and ask for each and everything you need. Whether it’s Hajj, children, career, spouse, home, whatever! Remember you are asking from the Kings of Kings.

Observe two raka’ah of salatul tawbah every single night and ask for forgiveness from Allah. He is Al-gaffar, Al-Ghafoor, Al-Tawwab, and Al-Afuww. Repent sincerely with full hope and firm resolve of not repeating the sins again.

Memorize and Keep saying the Du’aa of Lailatul Qadr: Allahuma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibul al-afwa fa’affu ‘anni (O Allah, You are forgiving and you love forgiveness, so forgive me).

Ask Allah to grant you lailatul Qadr and accept from you whatever ibaadaat you did by his tawfeeq.
